How To Replace a Kerosene Heater Wick

Hi Everyone!

Just in time for winter!

In this video I show you how to replace the wick on a standard barrel type convection kerosene heater. I actually own three of these now and love them, they are easy to care for and are great for backup!

Enjoy!

Common brands include; Kero Sun, Kero Heat, Porta-Heat,  Dyna-glow etc. But there are many, many of them out there! For my favorite see the link in ‘Resources’ below.

Resources:

Here is the place to get your wicks! –> The Wick Shop

If you need a heater here is my current favorite –> Kero Heat

There are many options, here is my video discussing them –> Backup Heating Options

CO detector (get these even if you don’t use this type of heater, they can save your life!) –> CO Detector

Don’t forget about Oil Lamps!–>  How to use an oil lamp. Using an oil lamp is a rewarding and valuable skill!

I hope this helps to get those heaters out there ready for winter!

Cheers!

Willie
