Just a quick video to show you a handy way to light a hard to reach candle wick when you don’t have a long match, aim-n-flame etc…

In fact this works so well I have not purchased a long reach lighter in quite some time.
In the video I was using linguine, regular spaghetti does work better (or even better angel hair style). This can also be used to light the BBQ, lanterns, pilot lights etc.. Anything where things are hard to reach or your want to keep a little distance!
This also works great for using an oil lamp!

That was a great trick!
You probably know this already but do you know how to recycle the glass jars that short candles come in? It’s a pain digging the wax out and messy. Answer – Pop them them in the freezer. They come out with minimal effort. I just hook the side of the wax with the tip of a knife and pull.
